Professional background line presents classic painted styles on heavy canvas material ideal for elegant portraiture.

Chandler, AZ (March 30, 2017) — Savage Universal, the worldwide leader in backgrounds and photographic products, is proud to introduce a new line of hand painted canvas backdrops.

The Savage Timeless Texture Canvas Backgrounds are durable and thick canvas backdrops hand painted in an array of deep, rich hues for a timeless and textured style that lends itself for creating fine-art portraiture. The hand painting process offers a one-of-a-kind design from piece to piece where photographers can create a high quality, custom styled set for a fraction of the cost.

Backdrops are available in two sizes: 5ft x 7ft and 8ft x 12ft to accommodate various studio sizes and projects. The heavy cotton canvas is mounted to a sturdy aluminum core and features a wood trim attached at the bottom, which can be used as a counterweight when to allow the material to hang smoothly, or allow users to center mount the backdrop on a single light stand if desired.

Line favorites, the Savage Eclipse Canvas Backdrop features deep tones of gray in a subtle textured pattern that helps convey a high-end quality to studio headshots, while the Scarlet Canvas Backdrop mixes various shades of red and crimson for a pop of rich color and a passionate portrait. The Midnight Canvas Backdrop spreads bold blues across the canvas to emit a dark and cool tone and the Alpine Canvas Backdrop mixes various shades of green for a natural yet unique style that works great with many model skin tones.

“We look forward to bringing a very affordable option to the market for beautiful, one-of-a-kind looking painted backgrounds that convey high-quality and artistic character that all photographers will be able to enjoy.” said Executive VP/COO, Rich Reiser.
