Returns & Replacements Information

We want you to enjoy your new Savage product! If for some reason you need to return an item, please refer to the following instructions for a replacement or refund.

You can return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund (less original shipping charges).

You must have purchased the product directly from www.SavageUniversal.com.

Returned items must be unopened in good, resellable condition with all supplied components (i.e. power cords, batteries, adapters, etc.) and in the original packaging.

Initiate a Return:

  • To initiate a return, log into your account and obtain a Return Number. You can only initiate a return after an order has been marked as shipped. You must initiate a return within 30 days of delivery.
  • Follow the return shipping instructions emailed to you carefully. You are responsible for all costs of shipping the products back to the fulfiller.
  • Always return items via a shipping service/method that offers tracking information so monitoring of the return can be done if necessary. We cannot guarantee refunds for returns sent via a non-traceable method and are not responsible for any merchandise lost or damaged in transit.
  • A Return Number must be included with all returns or credit will not be provided. Please note that we cannot issue credit for unknown or unauthorized returns.
  • All items must be shipped back within 30 days of obtaining the Return Number to the Return Address specified to you.

The refund will be for the full value of the item less any discounts, unless otherwise noted. Please note original shipping and handling fees will not be refunded.

Credit for returned items will be applied to the same payment method used on the original purchase. A credit to the purchasing credit card will be applied within 2-3 weeks of date the return is accepted by the fulfiller. Depending upon the billing cycle of the financial institution, it may take 1 to 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your account.

A restocking fee may apply to some returned items. The restocking fee will be deducted from any credit due prior to issuing the final credit amount to the purchasing credit card.

Some individual products may not be returnable. Please check the product description before placing the order. Non-defective software CDs, downloadable software and images as well as product replacement parts are not returnable. Final Clearance items may not be eligible for a return. If you have any questions regarding our return policy please contact our customer service department.

Returns are not accepted after the Return Policy period. After the return policy period has expired, please refer to the Limited Warranty.

Items Damaged in Shipping:

If the order arrives with shipping damage, please refer to the following instructions for a replacement.

Damaged product needs to be reported and the replacement process initiated within 30 days of delivery.

You must have purchased the product directly from www.SavageUniversal.com.

  • Save all packaging materials, cartons, etc. along with the packing slip. Disposing of packaging material may jeopardize the shipping claim process and result in the non-issue of a credit.
  • Refer to the packing slip that was packaged with your order to find the order fulfiller contact information.
  • Contact the authorized Savage retailer who fulfilled your order directly to initiate a replacement.
  • If the fulfiller would like the damaged/defective/incorrect items shipped back to their facility, they will notify the customer. Items must be shipped back within 30 days of obtaining return instructions from the fulfiller.
  • The product must be returned with all supplied components (i.e. power cords, batteries, adapters, etc.).
  • Follow the return shipping instructions carefully. The return shipping will be prepaid only for damaged, defective or incorrect products returned exactly as outlined on the return instructions. Please note original shipping and handling fees will not be refunded.
  • You may be asked to provide photographs of the damage to further assist in expediting the replacement process.
  • A replacement will be shipped as soon as possible after the shipper confirms receipt of the item.

Product Defects/Replacements or Receiving the Incorrect Product:

Although every effort is made to ensure the quality of our products and offer a smooth, accurate order fulfillment process, occasionally a problem will occur. Please refer to the following instructions for a replacement.

A Defective or Incorrect product needs to be reported and return process initiated within 30 days of delivery.

You must have purchased the product directly from www.SavageUniversal.com.

  • To initiate a replacement, please contact the fulfiller of the order directly, referring to the contact information supplied on the packing slip. This will ensure proper processing if return shipping fees should be prepaid by the fulfiller.
  • Follow the return shipping instructions provided by the fulfiller carefully. The return shipping will be prepaid only for damaged, defective or incorrect products returned exactly as outlined by the fulfiller.
  • The product must be returned with all supplied components (i.e. power cords, batteries, adapters, etc.).
  • You may be asked to provide photographs of the defect or incorrect product to further assist in expediting the replacement or refund process.
  • A replacement will be shipped as soon as possible after the fulfiller confirms receipt of the original item.

We accept no responsibility for user-initiated damage and/or loss of parts during operation or use of product.
