Items Damaged in Shipping:

If the order arrives with shipping damage, please refer to the following instructions for a replacement.
Damaged product needs to be reported and the replacement process initiated within 30 days of delivery.
You must have purchased the product directly from www.SavageUniversal.com.

  • Save all packaging materials, cartons, etc. along with the packing slip. Disposing of packaging material may jeopardize the shipping claim process and result in the non-issue of a credit.
  • Refer to the packing slip that was packaged with your order to find the order fulfiller contact information.
  • Contact the authorized Savage retailer who fulfilled your order directly to initiate a replacement.
  • If the fulfiller would like the damaged/defective/incorrect items shipped back to their facility, they will notify the customer. Items must be shipped back within 30 days of obtaining return instructions from the fulfiller.
  • The product must be returned with all supplied components (i.e. power cords, batteries, adapters, etc.).
  • Follow the return shipping instructions carefully. The return shipping will be prepaid only for damaged, defective or incorrect products returned exactly as outlined on the return instructions. Please note original shipping and handling fees will not be refunded.
  • You may be asked to provide photographs of the damage to further assist in expediting the replacement process.
  • A replacement will be shipped as soon as possible after the shipper confirms receipt of the item.

  • To initiate a replacement, please contact the fulfiller of the order directly, referring to the contact information supplied on the packing slip. This will ensure proper processing if return shipping fees should be prepaid by the fulfiller.
  • Follow the return shipping instructions provided by the fulfiller carefully. The return shipping will be prepaid only for damaged, defective or incorrect products returned exactly as outlined by the fulfiller.
  • The product must be returned with all supplied components (i.e. power cords, batteries, adapters, etc.).
  • You may be asked to provide photographs of the defect or incorrect product to further assist in expediting the replacement or refund process.
  • A replacement will be shipped as soon as possible after the fulfiller confirms receipt of the original item.
